Raine’s Chair of Governors collects OBE at the Palace

Elizabeth Wolverson the Chair of Governors at Raine’s Foundation School collected her OBE from the

Duke of Cambridge at Buckingham Palace last week. This was awarded due to services to education.

All the staff, students and parents at Raine’s would like to congratulate Liz on receiving this prestigious award.

The Raine’s community would like to congratulate our Chair of Governors Ms Liz Wolverson who was appointed an OBE this year for Services to Education.

(An OBE is a Queen’s honour given to an individual for a major role in any activity such as business, charity or the public sector. OBE stands for Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire).

Below is a brief outline of Liz’s lifetime in Education.

 

Elizabeth Wolverson OBE
Liz is CEO of LDBS Academies Trust and was awarded an OBE for services to education in 2018. She has worked as a teacher and school leader in inner London and for the Inner London Education Authority Advisory Service, and for the last 30 years has been an adviser and subsequently the Director for School Support Services at the London Diocesan Board for Schools.
